A film star arrested Saturday after an hours-long standoff at a northwest Atlanta church was angry over seating arrangements at his 94-year-old grandfather's funeral, a woman who attended the funeral told Channel 2 Action News.

"Snow on tha Bluff" star Curtis Snow allegedly barricaded himself inside the bathroom at the Higher Ground Empowerment Center at 561 Spencer Street about 3 p.m. after police responded to a "person armed" call, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution previously reported. It was not clear if the call was related to Snow.

“Once the policemen came,” witness Linda Adams told the television station, “they did what they are trained to do, and that is to make everyone safe.”

The standoff ended about 6:30 p.m. when police took Snow into custody without incident.

Snow, whose legal name is Curtis Ward, had a warrant out for his arrest in connection with an unrelated incident. He has been in and out of jail on drug-related offenses, police said.

Snow starred in a 2011 documentary-style film set in one of Atlanta’s most notorious neighborhoods.

In "Snow on tha Bluff," Snow is a robber and a crack dealer who steals a camera from college students and documents his life. Actor Michael K. Williams, who played Omar in HBO's "The Wire," signed on as an executive producer in 2012 and repackaged the film for wider distribution on Amazon, Netflix and other streaming services, according to CNN.

English Avenue is the main artery of what is commonly referred to as The Bluff.

The neighborhood is known for its drug, crime and prostitution problems, as Snow explored in the “Snow on tha Bluff” film.
