Age: 16

What happened: The teen was gunned down in a bedroom of the family's apartment at The Villages of East Lake, a complex just west of East Lake Golf Club. Police are questioning her brother in the fatal shooting.

More on Ashley: She was a rising junior at Maynard Jackson High School in Atlanta. Her aunt Sherry Morton said Ashley earned excellent grades.

Goals: Ashley wanted to be a pediatrician, her aunt said.
