WATCH: Thieves drive car into Loganville gun shop, steal firearms

Police are looking for at least three men they say drove a stolen car into a Loganville gun shop Friday morning before helping themselves to several firearms.

Surveillance footage shows a man in a Mercury Grand Marquis plow through the X3 Firearms along Atlanta Highway about 5 a.m.

A second camera from the butcher shop next door shows a silver Crown Victoria with two others inside pull up shortly after impact.

The driver inside the store then hopped out, smashed a gun case and picked up as many handguns as he could carry before taking them to his waiting accomplices.

Seconds later, the man returns to the store before leaving with several shotguns. The entire burglary took about one minute, Channel 2 Action News reported.

Police said the vehicle driven into the store was reported stolen from a nearby apartment complex Friday morning. They arrived at the gun shop to find the car still running inside.

“They couldn’t get the other car out, so they just had the other guy throw stuff out of the store and they just picked it up and put it in the trunk,” said Alex Bolson, who works at the neighboring Corner's Edge Butcher Shop.

Anyone who recognizes the men responsible for the early morning burglary is asked to call police.
