WATCH: Forest Park phone store robbed at gunpoint

Forest Park police are asking the public for help identifying a man they say held up a Sprint Mobile on Tuesday before making off with cell phones and cash.

Forest Park police are searching for a man they say held up a cellphone store along Jonesboro Road on Tuesday.
Surveillance video shows a man wearing a backpack and a dark-colored hoodie enter the Sprint Mobile store in the Forest Square shopping center before pulling out a silver handgun and pointing it at the store’s lone employee.
The woman, who appears to remain calm, led the man to a back room, where he stole several cellphones and an undisclosed amount of money before leaving the store, police said.

Forest Park police say a man robbed a Jonesboro Road cellphone store at gunpoint Tuesday and hope someone may be able to identify him by his tattoos.
The man has a distinct tattoo on his right hand. Anyone who recognizes him is asked to contact Forest Park detectives at 404-366-4141 or call Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477.
