Surveillance video of an armed robbery at a cellphone store in DeKalb County shows the brazen and terrifying moments where a hooded man grabs an employee and drags her by her leg as she screams.

The incident took place around 8:30 p.m. Thursday when the suspect walked into a Sprint store on Fairington Drive near I-20 in Lithonia, DeKalb police told Channel 2 Action News.

The man, who is wearing a yellow vest, walked up to the counter, whipped out a gun and then pushed the employee to the ground, the video shows. He then dragged her to the back room.

He forced a second employee to empty a safe by filling a bag with phones while he held them both at gunpoint, the video shows. It’s unknown how much the robber stole.

The store’s owner told Channel 2 he’s offering a $5,000 reward to anyone who can help identify and catch the suspect. Anyone with information is asked to call DeKalb police at 770-724-7850.
