A woman riding a moped in northwest Atlanta was the victim of a hit-and-run Sunday, police said.

Atlanta police released surveillance video of the incident Friday, and it appears to show a dark-colored vehicle enter her westbound lane on North Avenue, strike her moped and then continue driving.

The woman, Wilmontine Jackson, 58, sustained serious injuries and remains in critical condition at Grady Memorial Hospital, police said in a news release.
