The Atlanta Police Department has released video of a violent robbery and shooting at a convenience store in southwest Atlanta.

The incident happened Feb. 1 at the Star Grocery at 1955 Campbellton Road.

According to a police report obtained Tuesday by AJC.com, the man placed a bag of chips and peanuts on the counter. When the store clerk tried to ring him up, the man rushed into the clerk’s office and pointed a gun at him.

The man told the clerk to hand over all of the money. Instead, the clerk tried to take the man’s gun. During that struggle, the man shot the clerk in the left arm.

Authorities said the man took about $400 from the store’s cash register. In a video, he’s seen running toward the 1800 block of Campbellton Road.

Police are actively searching for the man.
