A Texas man driving through Cobb County was pulled over for a window tint violation, but troopers found much more inside his vehicle.

Georgia State Patrol troopers seized seven kilograms (about 15 pounds) of heroin that was hidden inside the vehicle, leading to the man’s arrest on March 15, according to arrest warrants.

Jose Enrique Reynaga Jr., 23, of Irving, Texas, was pulled over on I-75 South at I-575 between 6:30 and 7:45 p.m., according to the warrants. Troopers said they interviewed the driver and his wife, but they had conflicting stories.

The troopers asked for consent to search the vehicle, and it was granted, the warrants said. The heroin was discovered inside the vehicle’s battery.

Renaga was arrested on a heroin trafficking charge, which is a felony. He remains in the Cobb County jail without bond, according to online jail records.
