Three men have been arrested after allegedly hitting a Mableton home multiple times during a drive-by shooting, officials said.

Channel 2 Action News said no injuries were reported, but two children were asleep in their beds when the bullets hit the home on Ivey Terrace Drive last Wednesday.

Turan Melton, Tre’von Strickland and Raynard Hunt are facing aggravated assault charges.

Police found the suspects’ car a few miles from the scene and recovered a handgun and an AK-47, according to the news station.

Neighbor Alonzo Patterson said he heard at least seven gunshots.

“It was like, ‘pop, pop, pop, pop,’” he told Channel 2. “It was one after another. And then just silence.”

Patterson said he immediately hit the floor.

“I’m from Decatur. When you hear shots, you get on the ground,” he said.
