A Stockbridge High School student was found with weapons on campus Tuesday morning, a spokesman for Henry County schools said.

Other students told school administrators about the weapons, and the staff members and a resource officer investigated the incident, J.D. Hardin, school spokesman, told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

“No students or staff were harmed and the situation was resolved without incident,” Hardin said in an emailed statement.

The Henry County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident, and the student, whose name was not released, will face school disciplinary action, Hardin said.

“We are appreciative of those who came forward to help us thwart any potential situations from occurring,” Hardin said.

No details were released about the types of weapons found.
