It took four men just 60 seconds to steal $11,000 worth of clothing from a Marietta store.
Now, two of the men are in custody, and the store’s owner hopes police catch the other two people who damaged his business, Channel 2 Action News reported.
“I was hurt,” Jeff Manda, owner of Fly Gear ATL, told the news station. “Devastated.”
In Thursday’s smash and grab, one man used a bolt cutter to knock open the door and windows. All four men moved in and took the clothing.
“They make it look so easy to do that,” Manda said. “In and out in a minute. Destroyed property. Take away thousands of merchandise.”
However, Marietta police got a tip Tuesday from Atlanta officers, who pulled over a car matching the description of the one in the burglary.
Now, Ladarius Stone and Anthony O’Neal are in custody on “smash and grab” burglary charges. Both have been in jail for previous offenses, Channel 2 reported.
Manda must now try to operate his business although the storefront is boarded up — even when it’s open.
“I’ve got bills to pay, mortgage, my daughters to take care of, wife to take care of,” he said. “It’s just not a good thing.”
