Drug-laced gummy bears, a stolen gun and drugs were seized over the weekend by a Rockdale County sheriff’s deputy, according to authorities.

The bust happened during a traffic stop next to Johnson Park in Conyers. Authorities said they found two pounds of marijuana, ecstasy and Xanax pills, drug-infused candy, including THC-laced gummy bears, and a stolen gun in the car.

The driver was arrested, but police are not identifying the suspect due to the ongoing investigation, Channel 2 Action News reported.

Rockdale County Sheriff Eric Levett told Channel 2, “Parents need to find where the kids got the candy from and examine the candy secondly.”

Levett added that the candy looks “as real as candy can look.”
