A teenager was indicted on three felony charges last Thursday after being accused of molesting a 14-year-old at South Cobb High School last year.
Curtis Patrick Bell, of Marietta, was indicted on charges of aggravated sexual battery, child molestation and enticing a child for indecent purposes, Cobb County court records show.
In March 2018, Bell was arrested after allegedly assaulting the girl on the Austell school’s campus, AJC.com previously reported. Bell was a 17-year-old student at the time of his arrest.

He allegedly grabbed the girl’s arm in a hallway and pulled her into a copier room where he pushed her against a wall and violated her, according to an arrest warrant.
The Cobb County School District previously sent a statement on the incident that said:
“The Cobb County School District holds the safety and well-being of our students and staff as our top priority. This incident has been thoroughly investigated by school administrators and school district police. In addition to criminal charges, appropriate action has been taken in accordance with the Student Code of Conduct.”
Bell bonded out of jail about eight hours after his arrest, posting a $25,000 bond, records showed.
