Spalding County police are looking for two men they say pulled a gun on a teenage girl and tried to pull her out of her car.

Two men in a white truck followed the girl along Hamil Road to a red light at the intersection of West McIntosh Road and the North Expressway on Sept. 9, Spalding Sheriff Wendell Beam said in a news release. At the intersection, the truck’s driver got out, walked to the girl’s car and tried to open the door, Beam said.

Once the light turned green, she drove to another red light near the entrance of Griffin Crossroads Shopping Center, he said. The men followed her and this time the driver got out of the car and pulled out a gun.

The girl was able to escape again, but the men followed her until she pulled into a crowded church parking lot, Beam said. The men left the church and drove westbound on West McIntosh Road.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call 770-467-4282.
