A suspicious package that led to a brief movement of passengers at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport turned out to be a pair of battery operated slippers that were vibrating in a bag, authorities said.

The suspicious package was located on a ramp level in concourse D, and passengers in D2 and D4 were moved to D6, an airport spokesperson said.

There were no evacuations, and Atlanta police officers arrived on the scene to investigate.

However, the scene was cleared as soon as it was discovered the suspicious package was just vibrating slippers, the spokesperson said.
