Two men broke into the Henry County Water Authority late last month and stole a pickup truck, police said.

Henry County police are searching for two men they said broke into the Henry County Water Authority and stole a pickup truck.

The men broke into the Industrial Parkway facility sometime between 2 and 5 a.m. on April 28, police said. The men allegedly entered several vehicles before driving off in a white truck with the county’s water authority logo painted on the side.

It’s unclear how they got into the facility or if the keys were left inside the vehicle.

The truck was recovered later that day, Henry police Capt. Joey Smith said.

A representative from the water authority told Channel 2 Action News the truck was discovered off Ga. 81 and that the men may have taken it off-roading.
