A suspect in the late-March shooting death of a Marietta man was arrested this morning in Miami, authorities said.

Damion Wright died after being found with a gunshot wound March 27 in the parking lot of the Pointes of Marietta apartment complex on Cunningham Road, Marietta police spokesman David Baldwin said.

"During the course of the investigation, Marietta police detectives identified and charged 20-year-old Nehemiah Anglin with the murder of Damion Wright," Baldwin said. "Detectives learned that Anglin possibly fled the state to avoid capture."

The U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force arrested Anglin today with the assistance of the Cobb County Sheriff's Office Fugitive Unit.

Daniel Squires, 22, of Marietta, has also been charged with Wright's murder, but was arrested earlier without incident, Baldwin said.

He said Anglin will be extradited to Cobb County.
