A 17-year-old Athens high school student is facing armed robbery and other charges after officials found him on campus with a loaded gun, Athens-Clarke County police said.

Kenyas Yearby was arrested on the Clarke Central High School campus Wednesday, the Athens Banner-Herald reported.

Authorities found the gun in his backpack, the newspaper reported. Police believe he flashed that same gun April 10, when he met a 16-year-old girl who was selling a $700 iPhone 6s at the Holland Youth Sports Complex.

According to the Banner-Herald, officials found the iPhone in Yearby’s backpack, too.
