Third time’s the charm. That’s what authorities in Coweta County are saying after it took spike strips and two PIT maneuvers to end a police chase that reached nearly 100 mph last week.

The chase ended with 43-year-old Jennifer Ann Martin being arrested on 11 charges, including several traffic violations and probation violation, Channel 2 Action News reported.

Martin is accused of leading Coweta County deputies and Georgia State Patrol troopers on the high-speed chase around 8 p.m. last Wednesday, Channel 2 reported. A deputy initially tried to stop her for an alleged expired tag on Ga. 29.

Dash camera video of the chase obtained by the news station appears to show the driver weave in and out of traffic, including driving on the wrong side of the road at times.

Authorities initially tried to stop her vehicle using spike strips, but it didn’t work. A subsequent PIT maneuver performed by a deputy also failed, the news station reported.

A third attempt, which involved a trooper performing a PIT maneuver, worked on Ga. 154.

She faces charges from both the sheriff’s office and GSP.
