A Gwinnett County teenager said two men robbed him at gunpoint while he was doing yard work in front of his home.

Police said the armed robbery happened in broad daylight. The 16-year old was cutting his grass and picking up sticks outside of his Snellville home about 11 a.m. Saturday, according to a police report obtained by AJC.com.

As he tended to the lawn, a black car drove past him, made a U-turn and stopped in front of his house, police said.

When the teen looked at the car, he saw a man sitting in the passenger seat pointing a gun at him. The man told the teen to empty his pockets, and the teen handed over $60, according to the report.

Then, the car drove off.

Police said the teen didn’t report the incident right away. Instead, he talked to his neighbors across the street to see if they had a camera that might have captured the robbery.

The neighbors did not have a camera, and the 16-year-old did not get a good look at either of the men in the car, according to the report.

No one was hurt in the robbery.
