Smash-and-grab burglars hit Buckhead North Face store

Overturned mannequins, shards of glass and a large rock littered the floor of a Buckhead clothing store following a Tuesday morning burglary.
Just before 5 a.m., thieves used the rock to smash through a 12-foot tall pane of glass at the front of The North Face store on West Paces Ferry Road just west of Peachtree Road, Atlanta police said.
A 911 caller reported seeing four or five people carrying merchandise from the store.
Police have not said how much merchandise was stolen.
