The family of a man who was stabbed to death in Forsyth County said the suspect was their loved one’s close friend.
Marisol Paramo told Channel 2 Action News that her cousin, 20-year-old Jesus Arizaga, was asleep in his home off Archer Avenue before he was viciously attacked and stabbed 15 times. Deputies discovered his body Sunday about 5 a.m., AJC.com previously reported.

However, Arizaga’s then-friend, 40-year-old Jesus Olvera Gonzalez, was found in the home’s driveway and was charged with murder, Channel 2 reported.
“They were close friends, so we didn’t expect anything like this, especially from a friend,” Paramo said.
Arizaga’s parents live in Mexico, and he constantly sent money back to them, helping them fix their home at one point, she said. His family plans to have his body sent to Mexico.
As for her cousin’s alleged killer, Paramo wants the strictest form of justice possible.
“I think it would be justice if he got the death penalty,” she told Channel 2. “Even though he would be in jail, that’s not enough for us.”
Gonzalez remains in the Forsyth County Jail without bond. He also had a hold placed on him by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Channel 2 reported.
