The search continues for a man wanted in connection with a $40,000 armed robbery at a check cashing store in Norcross, Channel 2 Action News reported.

Police believe the robbery was an inside job orchestrated by one of the employees of Daily’s with the help of her brother, according to Channel 2.

The siblings are in custody, but the third suspect remains on the run.

The incident happened Tuesday and was captured by security cameras. The video shows when the employee, 17-year-old Casey Reyes, makes a call. Then two masked men approach the store. Reyes looks to the front door and makes another call, the news station reported.

The men entered the store and stole about $40,00 from the register, Norcross police spokesman Sgt. Eric Butynski said.

The robbery took about a minute before the suspects ran out, according to Channel 2. Reyes was seen on video apparently distraught as officers arrived at the scene.

“She had firsthand knowledge of security procedures, when the store would have larger amounts of money versus shorter amounts of money, and what to do once they got inside,” Butynski told Channel 2.

Just a few minutes later, police captured Reyes’ brother, Xavier Reyes, with $20,000 in his pocket, Channel 2 reported. Police believe the second man has the rest of the stolen money.

Detectives said the siblings confessed to the robbery and said Casey Reyes was the ringleader, according to Channel 2. They appeared in court Thursday morning.
