A suspect who fired a shot at a DeKalb County officer after running from a traffic stop is in custody, police said.

The person who ran was a passenger in the car, spokesman J.D. Spencer said. The incident was at Glenwood and Candler roads in Decatur.

Both people who were in the car are in custody, Spencer said.

Neither of the two officers involved with the traffic stop was injured.
