An Atlanta man out on bond for a murder charge was arrested in Clayton County on Tuesday night, officials said.

Quantavious Rashawn Robinson was involved in a fight with family members of a victim from an outstanding murder case, the Clayton County Sheriff's Office said in a news release.

Reginald Foster was shot in the face Aug. 8, 2015, in the 6700 block of Maddox Road near Morrow, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution previously reported.

Robinson is facing charges of murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime in connection with the fatal shooting.

On Tuesday night, deputies found the 28-year-old at the scene of what they originally thought was a car accident, the sheriff’s office said.

Deputies heard gunfire from inside one of the cars before it sped off, starting a high-speed chase that ended when two tires on the car went flat, the release stated.

Robinson was arrested with a gun in his hand after running away from the car.

He was charged Tuesday with aggravated assault, firearm use by a convicted felon, felony obstruction, fleeing and eluding police, reckless conduct and reckless driving, jail records show.

There was no bond set as of Wednesday.
