A Sandy Springs woman was arrested Monday and accused of a deadly DUI in South Carolina, jail records show.

Alaina Marie Young, 34, is accused of hitting at least one pedestrian in Myrtle Beach on Sunday night, Florence, S.C.,-based news station WBTW reported.

Ashlin Monteforte, 32, of Myrtle Beach, was hit on U.S. 17 near Kinds Road, the news station reported.

South Carolina Highway Patrol told WBTW that a Toyota traveling south struck one person before a Nissan traveling south hit the same person and another pedestrian before crashing into the rear of the Toyota around 8:10 p.m.

The driver of the Nissan was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, and the driver of the Toyota was not injured, the news station reported. It’s unknown which vehicle Young is accused of driving.

Young faces charges of felony DUI resulting in death, records show. She was released Monday on a $10,000 bond.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating.
