The Sandy Springs Police Department on Friday requested the public’s help in identifying a suspect in a shooting that left one man dead at an apartment complex Thursday.

Police said 22-year-old Ricardo Hernandez Ovalle

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his early 20s with a light complexion, short black hair, brown eyes, thin mustache, arm tattoos and an average height and build, according to a Friday press release. Police said he was wearing was wearing a dark colored t-shirt, knee length shorts and white tennis shoes at the time of the shooting.

Sandy Springs police are offering a $10,000 reward for any information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the suspect. Anyone with information about the shooting has been asked to call 770-551-3296, 911, or submit a tip online.
