Roswell police said a teenager and her underage accomplice were arrested after luring a classmate to an apartment complex and violently robbing her.

Yareli Yamilet Aagon and the accomplice are both facing robbery and battery charges after the Feb. 10 attack.

Police told Channel 2 Action News officers were routinely patrolling the Park 83 apartment complex off Holcomb Bridge Road when a 15-year-old girl flagged them down.

Officer Lisa Holland said the girl was crying and looked hurt, Channel 2 reported.

The teen told officers she had planned to meet a friend at the apartment complex that day, but her friend never showed up. As she was waiting for her friend, authorities said two people wearing masks came out of the woods and attacked her.

"They started hitting her, throwing her to the ground, kicking her, grabbed her cellphone and left the scene," Holland told Channel 2.

At the hospital, the teen victim gave police a description of the attackers and told investigators some of their clothing made her suspect they were her classmates, Holland said.

Aagon was arrested Feb. 11 and released the following day on $12,000 bond.
