He supposedly calls himself Caprice Caprice and says he’s an ambassador from heaven.

He allegedly mailed letters that contained marijuana joints to the Gwinnett County district attorney and other officials.

Now he’s in jail without bond, facing 13 felony charges and some misdemeanor offenses, Channel 2 Action News reported.

"To him, it's a form of civil protest, I think,” District Attorney Danny Porter said.

The 73-year-old’s real name is Norman Calvert, and he apparently lived in Snellville before his marijuana efforts got him jailed, authorities said.

Legal problems are not new for him, the news station reported. He has filed several lawsuits in federal court and has been cited for smoking pot on the steps of a federal building in Atlanta.

Now he’s seeking full access to the jail to distribute pot, authorities said.

“Religious persecution,” Calvert said of his situation in a recent jail appearance.

Porter said of Calvert’s so-call protest, “It’s not rational.”
