A Cobb County grand jury has indicted the 20-year-old grandson of rapper Ice-T in the shooting death of his roommate.

Elyjah Marrow of Marietta was arrested last year after allegedly shooting 19-year-old Daryus Johnson in the chest while handling a stolen gun, according to police. Johnson died from his injuries.

Investigators found marijuana in the apartment where the shooting happened, and Marrow allegedly admitted he sold the drug, his arrest warrant states.

Marrow was indicted June 4 on charges of involuntary manslaughter, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana more than an ounce, theft by receiving stolen property and possession of firearm during commission of a felony reckless conduct, according to the Cobb County District Attorney’s Office. He is currently free on bond.

Ice-T, whose real name is Tracy Lauren Marrow, is also an actor and currently stars in the E! show “Ice Loves Coco.” His grandson previously appeared on that show.

Ice-T also appears on “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.”
