So anyone who got a traffic ticket in the county in the past few years may have had a “temporary negative impact” on their driver’s license.
The DDS released this statement: “The Department of Driver Services immediately engaged our Legal, Information Technology and Georgia Electronic Conviction Processing System teams to investigate the issue. DDS continues to work in tandem with the State Court of Spalding County to correct the driver records that were affected.”
People can call the DDS automated phone line (404-657-9300) to check the status of their license. Also, you can check your license status at www.dds.georgia.gov.
