Police ID suspect accused of killing man found in shopping cart

A month after a body was found in a shopping cart, Atlanta police have identified a suspect in the investigation.
Landus McBride, 42, of Atlanta, faces a murder charge in the death of Thomas Hall.
Hall, 38, was found July 7 covered in a tarp in a shopping cart at the intersection of Sylvan Road and Murphy Avenue, police said.

According to the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office, Hall suffered blunt force trauma to the head. Police initially said there were no obvious signs of foul play.
No other details were released.
Police described McBride as 5-foot-7 and weighing 150 pounds. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477. Tipsters can remain anonymous and are eligible for a reward of up to $2,000.
