Dunwoody police are searching for a teenager they say fired at least two shots in the bathroom of a popular clothing store.

The shots were fired in the men’s room of the Marshalls at the Perimeter Expo along Hammond Drive last week, Channel 2 Action News reported.

After the shots were fired, the teen ran out of the bathroom, down a set of stairs and out the door, Dunwoody police spokesman Sgt. Robert Parsons said.

“We found one shell casing and two bullets in the bathroom,” he said. “Certainly the gun could have gone off, gone through the wall and struck a customer inside the store.”

Police said they hope to track down the teen and ask him why he was playing with a loaded gun inside the restroom of a busy store.

Anyone who recognizes the young man from the store’s surveillance footage is asked to call Dunwoody police at 678-382-6900.
