Clayton County police are searching for a murder suspect only known as "Calvin."

Clayton County police found Aunree Argue lying on the floor of a Jonesboro apartment dead from a gunshot wound on Sept. 27.

A month later, police need help identifying the man they think killed the 44-year-old.

Simply known as “Calvin,” police described the suspect as 6-foot-3 and 275 pounds. He was last seen running away from the Harmony Crossroads apartments after shots rang out about 7 p.m. that day, Clayton County police Sgt. Ashanti Marbury said.

Argue was taken to Southern Regional Medical Center, where he died.

Marbury said “Calvin” was allowed inside the home by a female acquaintance of Argue.

“An altercation of some sort took place which ultimately led to the shooting of Argue,” Marbury said.

Police did not say who was involved in the fight.
