Atlanta police say they have arrested the person responsible for two different carjackings.

Carlos Twine, 18, was charged with armed robbery and aggravated assault in connection with a carjacking outside the OK Cafe on June 13. Now Atlanta Police say that Twine was also the person responsible for a carjacking that took place at Lenox Square that same day.

Twine is accused of carjacking 71-year-old Anita Thomas at gunpoint in the Neiman Marcus parking deck at Lenox Square. According to police, Twine approached Thomas and her two granddaughters and demanded her phone and keys. He then allegedly stole her car, a 2015 Mercedes-Benz.

Police said Twine later approached a couple outside of the OK Cafe and stole their car. He allegedly carjacked a man and his girlfriend at gunpoint as they were leaving the restaurant. The victim told police that Twine pointed a gun at them and demanded the keys to their 2016 Mercedes.

Police were able to use the car’s tracking system to locate it near Saturn Drive and Croft Place in Atlanta. Officials said that when police found the car, they saw several men walk away from it and get into two other vehicles.

One of the cars was stopped, and Twine and one other man were taken into custody.

Twine is being held in the Fulton County Jail.
