‘Police!’ Men beat, shoot at family members in Gwinnett home, cops say
They shouted out that they were police. But when three men kicked their way into a Gwinnett County home, they shot at one family member and pistol-whipped another, Channel 2 Action News reported.
There were three family members sleeping at 5 a.m. Monday when the intruders broke in, the news station reported.
The father went to check on the noise, then tried to hide, but the men saw him, according to the incident report. The mother and son were upstairs, barricaded in a bedroom.
Speaking off camera, the family said one of the men tried to force his way into the bedroom.
That’s when the son tried to escape out a window. Surveillance video shows an intruder shooting at him.
Take a look at the white car in this surveillance video. Police believe the driver has something to do with a terrifying home invasion. The driver circled the culdesac several times before the home invasion. Story at 4pm on Ch2 pic.twitter.com/N3weBVlyDg

Police are still looking for the men.
They say a white car and a dark car rode around the cul-de-sac in the Stone Mountain neighborhood several times before the incident. The drivers may be involved.
“Even if it wasn’t in this area,” nearby resident Nicole Onyema said, “no one should experience this.”
