A man was shot and killed Monday night in the 1900 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in northwest Atlanta, police said.

Atlanta police spokeswoman Kim Jones said the man died at the scene after being shot several times in the upper and lower torso around 10 p.m.

No suspects were in custody early Tuesday, but police towed two vehicles from the scene to be processed for evidence, Jones said.

The man’s name was being withheld until relatives could be notified.
