Police are searching for who shot multiple people, including children, with a pellet gun in east Cobb County.

The suspect is believed to have been driving a red Nissan Altima near Indian Hills Country Club, Channel 2 Action News reported.

“The last thing you want is to have your kids be scared to go outside,” said Dana Stein, a resident of the neighborhood whose daughter was hit by one of the shots. “We had a car drive by slow yesterday and she went running inside because she’s afraid of being hit with a BB gun now.”

At least four people filed police reports, spokesman Sgt. Wayne Delk told Channel 2.

“You have someone driving by in a car, multiple suspects, and they’re targeting innocent people,” Delk said.

No one was seriously injured, but police believe there are more victims and are encouraging people to come forward, the news station reported.
