Atlanta police are investigating an infant’s death in northwest Atlanta on Tuesday morning.

Police received a call at 11:18 a.m. reporting a dead person at a house off Gun Club Road, and officers arrived at the scene 16 minutes later, according to Atlanta police records.

Atlanta police spokesman Officer Anthony Grant confirmed an infant was found dead, but no other information was provided. It’s unclear how the child died or whether foul play is suspected.

The case remains under investigation, police said.
