Just before the Dillard’s department store at Atlantic Station closed up on the night of September 7, some employees overheard a group of men talking about how they were planning to pull off a smash-and-grab burglary of the shop. Several hours later, early the next morning, thieves used a large rock to smash their way through the store’s glass doors and make off with nearly $35,000 in high-dollar jeans and hoodies.

Now, Atlanta police have released store security video photos of a group of men who the employees identified as the individuals they overheard. And a reward is being offered to anyone who might be able to identify them, if it leads to an arrest and indictment in the case.

The store's assistant manager had told investigators 200 pairs of Rock Revival jeans that sell for $169 a pair had been taken, along with four Ralph Lauren Polo hoodies valued at $145 each.

Information on the case can be submitted anonymously to the Crime Stoppers Atlanta tip line at 404-577-TIPS (8477), online www.crimestoppersatlanta.org or by texting CSA and the tip to CRIMES (274637). Persons do not have to give their name or any identifying information to be eligible for the reward.
