Five people, including three juveniles, have been arrested in connection with auto break-ins in Cobb County.

Stephanie Hogan, 26, of Marietta, and Dontavious Harris, 17, of Marietta, along with two 14-year-olds and a 15-year-old were arrested, Cobb County police spokeswoman Officer Alicia Chilton said Thursday.

Hogan and Harris were each charged with entering auto, theft by receiving a firearm, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and criminal gang activity. Chilton said a small child was with them at the time.

The juveniles were charged with various counts of entering auto and gang activity.

Witnesses saw several males breaking into vehicles in parking lots in the Austell and Mableton areas, Chilton said, and they provided a description of a vehicle allegedly involved in the crimes. Later, witnesses reported seeing occupants of that car breaking into other vehicles in the Town Center Mall area, and officers came and arrested them in the parking lot of a nearby movie theater.
