A North Georgia man was arrested Friday and accused of stabbing and killing his younger brother, authorities said.
Dennis Wayne Taylor, 53, of Demorest, called Habersham County 911 around 2:30 a.m. to report that his brother, 47-year-old Donnie Mitchell Taylor, was dead inside their home, the GBI said in a news release.
Deputies found the younger brother dead from a stab wound at the home in the 2800 block of Ga. 115, the release said. Within hours, Dennis Taylor was arrested and charged with his brother’s homicide.
The body will undergo an autopsy at the GBI Crime Lab, the release said.
Dennis Taylor was booked into the Habersham County Jail, where he remains without bond, jail records show.
An investigation is ongoing.
