A Newnan man was arrested Monday and accused of a double homicide in DeKalb County last week.

Angelo Ali Lenon, 22, is accused of shooting three men, two of whom died, at the Vineyard Walk apartment off Flat Shoals Road just before 2 a.m. Thursday, the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.

He allegedly shot and killed 26-year-old Jeremie Tyson and 23-year-old Andrew Barkley during an armed robbery, the release said. Daishone Flagg was also critically injured during the incident.

A witness told DeKalb police he heard gunshots and saw a man dressed in all black with white shoes run out the front of the building, AJC.com previously reported.

Several pounds of marijuana were discovered at the scene, police said. Authorities also believe that multiple people fired weapons.

The DeKalb and Coweta County sheriff’s offices found Lenon at a Newnan business, where he was taken into custody, the release said. He’s been charged with two counts of felony murder, one count of aggravated assault and one count of armed robbery.

He remains in the DeKalb jail without bond, according to jail records.
