A New Jersey man remained in jail Wednesday after U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials arrested him just before he boarded a flight at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.

Justo Medina, 60, faces two sexual assault charges in Camden, N.J., CBP Atlanta field office spokesman Rob Brisley said. Medina was preparing to board a flight to Managua, Nicaragua, on Saturday when he was arrested.

“CBP officers verified the validity of the warrant and confirmed extradition,” Brisley said.

Medina is in the Clayton County jail awaiting extradition.
