A man was stabbed Saturday at a Dunkin Donuts on Piedmont Avenue near Lindbergh Drive in Atlanta, police say.

Employee Lamont Hall told Channel 2 Action News a man demanded money from a customer shortly before the stabbing.

“He did have a nice wound (that was) gushing blood, but he’s alright,” Hall said.

The victim was alert, conscious and breathing when taken to Grady Memorial Hospital, Atlanta police spokesman Officer Donald Hannah said.

The suspect in the stabbing has not been caught.
