Clayton County police are looking for a man accused of shooting and killing his co-worker outside their job Monday afternoon.

Police are looking for Antwan Latrell Thomas, 37, in connection with the fatal workplace shooting.

Lt. Frank Thomas said the two men, who worked at XPO Logistics, argued over who was in charge.

The argument spilled outside and Antwan Thomas allegedly pulled out a gun, shot his co-worker in the head and drove away, Frank Thomas said. Police found the victim lying in the street.

Police are not sure if the men had previous altercations. The identity of the man who was shot has not been released.

Southlake Parkway was shut down while Clayton police search for the shooter.

Northbound and southbound lanes of Southlake Parkway at Battle Creek were blocked, the Clayton sheriff's office said in an electronic alert.

The sheriff’s office urged drivers to use alternate routes.

Anyone with information on Antwan Thomas’ whereabouts is asked to dial 911 or contact Det. M. Simonds at 678-610-4785.
