Man shot in leg near popular Atlanta intersection dies at hospital
The shooting happened down the street from the headquarters of Coca-Cola.
A man died after being shot in the leg overnight near the headquarters of Coca-Cola, police said.
The man, who has not been identified, was found shot in the upper leg in the 500 block of Northside Drive, near its intersection with North Avenue, Atlanta police spokesman Officer Jarius Daugherty told AJC.com.
After officers found the man about 3:45 a.m. Monday, he was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Crews are investigating the shooting.
