Man, 21, shot to death in DeKalb

A 21-year-old man died after being shot in DeKalb County on Wednesday night, police said.

Demarco Franklin was walking from the Exxon station on Holcombe Road near Redan Road around 10 p.m. when he was approached by another man on foot who shot him twice and fled, according to DeKalb County police.

Franklin was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital, where he later died.
