Police are searching for a Ford sedan with California plates after a man was shot to death Saturday afternoon inside a Buckhead apartment complex.
Officers were dispatched to the Peachtree Park apartments about 1 p.m. after getting a call about a person shot, Atlanta police spokeswoman Officer Tasheena Brown said.
Keithan Hillman, 40, was found at the residence with multiple gunshot wounds, officials said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators determined the victim was fighting with another man when he was shot and killed. The suspect then fled the complex in a Ford sedan with California tags, police said.
The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information about the fatal shooting or the suspect’s whereabouts is asked to call Atlanta police.
