A Henry County family returned home recently to find their home ransacked and their refrigerator emptier than they left it.

Their home surveillance cameras captured a man breaking in through a back door, Channel 2 Action News reported. Before he left, the man reportedly made himself a sandwich.

“He's a hungry thief,” the homeowner, who did not wish to be identified, told the news station.

The break-in was the second incident in the neighborhood off Flat Rock Road in recent weeks, according to Channel 2. The other was also captured on home surveillance footage.

A neighbor’s camera was recording when a man walked up to the front door, pulled up the hood of his sweatshirt and ran off carrying a lawn mower.  Footage of the incident was obtained by Channel 2.

In both incidents, the suspects were seen leaving the scene without a car. Anyone with information is asked to call Henry County police at 770-288-8200.
